Bright, Healthy Blonde for Spring
How to go lighter without sacrificing the health of your hair.
April is officially blonde season. The days get longer, the sun comes out, and suddenly everyone wants to go a little lighter. I don't blame you.
Blonding is my happy place. As a former Goldwell Educator, I have spent years learning how to create bright, luminous blondes. And here is my honest truth: the most beautiful blonde is always a healthy blonde.
My rules for a blonde that stays beautiful
Go lighter gradually
Big jumps in one day can stress your hair. Building brightness over two or three visits keeps it soft, strong, and shiny.
Tone is everything
The difference between brassy and beautiful is toner. Every highlight service includes Colorance, so your blonde leaves the salon polished.
Purple shampoo once a week, not every day
A little goes a long way. Overusing it can leave blonde dull and dark. Once a week keeps brass away without the muddy tint.
Protect and hydrate
Lightened hair loves moisture. A conditioning treatment between visits keeps your blonde silky instead of straw like.
Hair is my creative outlet. I love it when my clients walk out feeling like the best version of themselves.Shawna Keech
What I'd book this month
Ready to brighten up? These are my go to blonde services:
- Partial Highlights for brightness on top and around the face.
- Full Highlights for all over luminous blonde.
- Color and Highlights for richness at the root with bright dimension.
- Gloss to refresh tone between highlight appointments.
Your blonde should look expensive and feel healthy. We can absolutely have both.
